Tis the Wunder of The Season Annual Family Movie Night

In November 2016, WunderGlo started an amazing event to gather families and our donors together at the start of the holiday season – taking place on the first Wednesday after Thanksgiving. We named this annual event:“Tis The Wunder of The Season Family Movie Night”. In partnership with Vintage Theatres in Los Feliz, CA, The Gloria Borges WunderGlo Foundation hosts FREE movie admission, popcorn, drinks and candy, as we collect toys to distribute to the children of cancer patients.

Free raffle tickets are distributed to everyone who attends and more tickets are given to those who bring a toy to donate to children of cancer patients. We also greatly appreciate and accept toys and gift cards from those who live out of the area and/or cannot attend. Please mail your toys and/or gift card donations to: Becky Keller c/o The WunderGlo Foundation, 713 Birmingham Road, Burbank, CA 91504.

Once all of the toys are collected, inventoried, and individually wrapped, we distribute our list to The WunderGlo Foundation and Wunder Project Facebook audience, to the volunteers, doctors, and administrators of cancer hospitals, and to the cancer patients/caregivers who are part of our private on-line support group, “WunderGlo Chat”. We then fill up our WunderGlo Sleigh, put on our Santa’s hats, and head to the post office and hospitals to spread holiday cheer in support of children in need.

The Gloria Borges WunderGlo Foundation wants children of cancer patients, who we lovingly call “The Children of WunderGlo”, to know that there are people in the world who care about them.
