45 years young and starting a journey of surgery, chemo, and never ending doctor appointments. I was not alone on this ride…. My best friend was diagnosed with advanced stage 3 colon cancer 2 weeks later.

Life would never be the same. Losing your best friend from a disease you both have. There are not enough words to describe it. So I started to run and I have not stopped running. With each 1/2 marathon completed (10 and counting), a medal goes to a awesome colon cancer friend… And this brought me to the life force of Gloria and “The Wunder Project.”

When a light shines so bright, you can’t help but be drawn to it. Gloria and Wunder Project have a destiny: TO CURE COLON CANCER – NOW! I’m all about the NOW and happy to be a part of this group.
