Briel Zagarow was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer in 2011, at 26 years old. Since her diagnosis, Briel has undergone chemotherapy, radiation and surgery, and continues with chemotherapy today to fight cancer that has spread to her liver. Even though Colon Cancer has presented many challenges, Briel is determined to continue living and loving life, and to helping The Wunder Project find a cure for the disease. Briel currently lives with her husband in New York City where she is treated at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. For more on Briel’s journey see her blog, Little Victories.
